Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA in Pennsylvania
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with a team of education professionals
- Compassionate, flexible, and committed to supporting students’ functional independence
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with implementing individualized student treatment plans
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with elementary-aged students as directed
- Contribute to documentation and progress notes, maintaining compliance with school and therapy standards
- Adapt therapeutic activities to fit students’ individual needs within the classroom setting
- Communicate observations and progress to the primary OT and other school staff as needed
- Help facilitate a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for learning and development
