Key Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with active certification/licensure in Pennsylvania
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with elementary-aged students
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and communicate effectively with lead OT, educators, and families
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable to changing student needs in a school setting
- Strong documentation and case management skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized interventions and IEP goals for elementary students
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with student plans and school guidelines
- Collect and record data on student progress, maintaining accurate and timely reports
- Assist with therapy scheduling, adaptation of learning materials, and consultation to teachers and staff as needed
- Participate in team meetings, reviews, and ongoing professional development
