Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Lakebay, WA

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Lakebay, WA area, requiring travel between multiple buildings to ensure comprehensive support for students’ needs. Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Washington (WA) COTA license and NBCOT certification
- School-based and/or special education experience strongly preferred
- Ability to travel between multiple school buildings within the district
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and providing quality care in an educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and other educational staff to create supportive, goal-driven environments
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Participate in meetings with families, teachers, and related support personnel to ensure effective service delivery
- Adapt interventions to fit varying developmental levels across K-12 populations
