Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based, contracted position near Midland, WA for the 26/27 school semester. This position is perfect for a COTA ready to provide essential support within a dynamic school-based environment. Working full-time onsite from now through June 23, 2027, you'll focus your skills at an Early Learning Center, supporting young students’ growth and development during the 2026-2027 school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Washington State COTA or OT License required
- Must have completed fingerprinting through OSPI prior to start
- Previous experience as a COTA in a school setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
- Passion for working with early childhood populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and school teams to execute individualized intervention plans
- Support students’ development in fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for school readiness
- Track student progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Partner with educators and families to provide consultative support and resources
- Contribute to inclusive classroom environments that foster student participation and independence
