Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- Experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Ability to support students across a broad age and ability range, from preK to 12+
- Strong communication skills and confidence in collaborating with both educational staff and families
- Flexible, resourceful mindset and effective time management across multiple sites
- Understanding of IEPs and the implementation of therapy goals in school environments
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist in line with IEP goals
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, adapting strategies for individual needs
- Travel between 8 school sites, ensuring comprehensive support for students and staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and team members
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and reporting
