In this role, you’ll deliver occupational therapy services via teletherapy to three students, tailoring your expertise to foster engagement and development in a school setting. Each student has individualized service times, requiring a commitment of approximately 2-3 hours per week.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid for school settings
- Prior experience in teletherapy and/or school-based OT practice
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with students, guardians, and educational teams
- Proficient with digital therapy platforms and telehealth tools
- Commitment to delivering services in accordance with each student's prescribed minutes (240 min/month, 120 min/month, or 120 min/year)
- Ability to organize and document sessions per district and state guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual OT services for three students, meeting individualized service time requirements
- Develop and implement targeted therapy interventions that align with educational goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and session attendance
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with education professionals as needed
- Adapt approaches to suit each student’s needs and monitor ongoing progress
