Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license (OT) in New Mexico
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings
- Strong background in teletherapy practices and digital platforms
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with children, educators, and family members
- Organizational skill to manage records and service documentation for caseloads of varying minutes per month/year
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions for three students, providing 240 minutes/month, 120 minutes/month, and 120 minutes/year respectively, as assigned
- Conduct both on-site and teletherapy sessions, adapting approaches as needed for each setting
- Assess students’ functional abilities and write clear, concise progress reports
- Collaborate with school staff and families to optimize student participation and learning
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all therapeutic activities and outcomes
