Qualifications and Experience:
- Washington Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare settings
- Skilled in providing effective OT interventions individually, in small groups, and via teletherapy
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Creative problem-solver passionate about student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement OT services across a range of school environments, adapting methods for in-person and remote delivery
- Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student participation in academic and social activities
- Maintain thorough records and participate in team meetings regarding student progress and needs
- Offer professional guidance and recommendations for accommodations and equipment to support access and participation
