Occupational Therapist School Setting in Corona, CA

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and parents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students referred by education staff
- Design and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the educational environment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicating progress and recommendations to support student achievement
- Adapt therapy tools and interventions to maximize student participation in daily school routines
