Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license is required
- Experience with school-based interventions and adapting therapy for K-12 students
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Exceptional organizational skills for documentation and scheduling
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and ongoing assessments for students referred for OT services
- Develop and implement IEP-based interventions tailored to each child’s needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ success
- Provide direct therapy within classroom and therapy settings
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district policy
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
