What you’ll bring:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Current resume and active license (required for application consideration)
What you’ll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs and 504 plans
- Complete thorough assessments, develop goals, and monitor progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Adapt strategies and interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
- Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as necessary
- Provide coverage at both Valparaiso and Portage locations as scheduled
