Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (Washington State)
- OSPI certification (preferred)
- Experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Expertise in providing evidence-based OT interventions for diverse learners
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K–12 students in a dynamic, supportive setting
- Conduct assessments, develop plans of care, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and families to foster student success
- Track student progress and document outcomes
- Support students with fine/gross motor, sensory integration, and adaptive skills to enhance classroom participation
