Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Washington
- OSPI certification (preferred)
- Experience working in a school setting, ideally with K–12 populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with relevant assessment tools and documentation requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized educational and therapeutic plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting in accordance with district standards
- Provide consultation and training to classroom staff as needed
