A contract position is available for a dedicated OT or COTA to provide part-time therapy services throughout the full school year. What We’re Looking For:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) for occupational therapy practice
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Your Role Will Include:
- Delivering occupational therapy interventions to a caseload of K-8th grade students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in alignment with student IEP goals
- Collaborating with educators, school staff, and families to foster supportive educational environments
- Documenting therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes to ensure compliance and support student success
- Consulting and advocating for students’ needs within IEP meetings and team discussions
- Providing resources or recommendations for classroom modifications, assistive devices, or home activities
