Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with current state credentials
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy highly desirable
- Strong ability to communicate with children, educators, and parents
- Skilled in designing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility when working in dynamic school environments
- Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students’ functional skills and develop intervention plans tailored to diverse needs
- Collaborate with teachers, educators, and families to support student progress and participation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation on student outcomes and therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for learners of varying abilities
