Occupational Therapist School Setting in Gaithersburg, MD

Key qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP license is required
- Experience with various settings, such as school-based, home health, teletherapy, and general healthcare
- Background working with K-12 populations
- Comfort with a caseload that includes a mixture of disabilities (approximately 25 students)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment for all learners
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
