School Occupational Therapist | Hoquiam, Washington

Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an OT
- Prior experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and implementation of student-centered therapy plans
- Ability to adapt and support diverse student needs in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to maintaining documentation and accountability standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide direct OT services to students according to IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment interventions in the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and deliver expertise on occupational therapy goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports per district and federal guidelines
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
