Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state OT license and registration
- Previous OT experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and IEP goals for diverse student needs in grades K-8
- Ability to manage caseload, track progress, and document interventions effectively
Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify fine motor, sensory-processing, and self-help needs impacting educational participation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions
- Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs), setting measurable goals
- Engage and educate teachers and families on integrating therapy strategies into classroom and home routines
- Monitor student progress, adjusting approaches as needed to support the best possible outcomes
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all learners throughout the maternity leave coverage
