The assignment runs from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027, with the chance to provide expert care and collaborate closely with educational professionals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license (MD OT License)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based practice, especially with infants and toddlers
- Ability to manage Child Find assessments and early intervention caseloads
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Organized, adaptable, and motivated to work in a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers identified through Child Find and early intervention programs
- Assess and develop treatment plans targeting motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and promote student success
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in team meetings as needed
- Play an active role in initial screenings and eligibility assessments as part of Child Find activities
