Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist focused on supporting young learners in an Infant and Toddler Program. This position centers around providing vital services across multiple locations in the Leonardtown area, with travel compensated for mileage between sites. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to set your own schedule while working full time, making an immediate impact as part of an 11-month contract with a clear end date of July 1, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers, utilizing evidence-based techniques suited to early childhood development.
- Adapt interventions and collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to craft individualized support plans.
- Rotate between locations as part of an itinerant service delivery model (mileage is reimbursed).
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in required meetings to ensure holistic care.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to state and school district policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maryland.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred; strong new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with early intervention and infant/toddler caseloads highly valued.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with caregivers, children, and team members.
- Reliable transportation for travel between assigned sites.
