School Occupational Therapist | Lusby, Maryland

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in Maryland
- Previous experience with pediatrics, especially infant and toddler populations, preferred
- Familiarity with school-based therapy processes and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule and adapt to varying caseload needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ developmental and functional needs across multiple domains
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance student participation and daily performance
- Collaborate with educational staff, families, and service coordinators
- Document sessions and progress, meeting all compliance and reporting requirements
- Support transition planning and family education activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
