The position is based near Leonardtown, MD and includes paid mileage between locations, enabling you to efficiently support your diverse caseload throughout the community. With a flexible work schedule and an 11-month contract extending through July 2027, you’ll be empowered to find the work-life balance you seek.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maryland
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, working with infants and toddlers preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Reliable transportation for travel between program sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment for children with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to infants and toddlers as outlined in their individualized plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine motor, sensory, and adaptive needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to develop strategies and monitor progress
- Document and maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, assessments, and parent communications
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement efforts
