Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Proficient in a variety of OT assessments and therapy techniques applicable to K-12 populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver therapy sessions that enhance students’ participation in academic and daily activities
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and monitor goal achievement
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support classroom modifications and home programs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
- Promote self-advocacy, motor skills, and independence among students
