Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapy licensure in Alaska
- TYPE C Certification is required
- School-based OT experience or familiarity with educational settings preferred
- AK-Certified practitioners strongly desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to support students’ educational goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Assess students’ functional abilities and collaborate with educators and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Serve as a resource to school staff regarding strategies to support student participation and independence
