Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Arizona
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy settings is highly preferred
- Comfortable supporting diverse caseloads from PreK through grade 8
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for students of varying abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students with varying needs across multiple grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Document progress regularly and maintain compliant records consistent with school policies
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and recommend appropriate assistive strategies or equipment
- Participate in meetings, staff trainings, and consultations to ensure comprehensive support for student growth and access
