Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Proven experience or strong interest in a school-based OT environment
- Experience supporting students from PreK through middle school is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students PreK-8
- Assess and document student strengths, needs, and progress towards IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans
- Deliver interventions in classroom or pull-out settings
- Educate teachers and parents on strategies to enhance student participation in school tasks
- Maintain accurate and timely records according to school regulations
