Occupational Therapist - Travel
Location: Seattle, Washington Area (Travel Position)
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time travel role supporting school districts in the Seattle, Washington area for the 2026–2027 school year. Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including:
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Washington State Department of Health licensure and compliance with all regulatory standards
Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification through the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), if required by the district
Completion of all required background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Travel Position Requirements:
Must hold an active license in the state of assignment
Must maintain dual housing arrangements (permanent residence and temporary assignment housing) during the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to determine physical, developmental, and sensory-motor needs
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and group settings
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and other required staff meetings

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
