Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington state
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable in developing and implementing IEP goals
- Proficient in assessment and treatment planning for pediatric populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage a very part-time caseload independently
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and write relevant reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate OT goals into the classroom
- Provide direct therapy sessions (individual or group) as per IEP requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, translating evaluation findings to actionable steps
- Track student progress, documenting interventions and outcomes for compliance
