Occupational Therapist School Setting - Verdi, NV

Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with credentials valid for school-based practice
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress

- Compassionate, organized, and proactive in problem-solving
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations to identify students’ motor, sensory, and functional strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans within the school environment
- Support students in accessing curriculum, classroom participation, and daily school activities
- Collaborate with classroom staff to provide strategies and adaptations that enhance student learning and independence
- Monitor and communicate progress, maintaining accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
