Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license, with eligibility for Alaska licensure
- TYPE C Certification required
- AK-certified candidates strongly preferred
- Prior school-based OT experience highly valued
- Ability to manage an active caseload while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping students achieve their goals and develop functional skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite OT services to students, totaling approximately 1,000 minutes of student contact weekly
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Deliver services exclusively in-person; virtual/remote work is not available for this role
