Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and create individualized treatment plans
- Efficient time management and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based, individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to foster student independence and participation in the classroom
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued member of the multidisciplinary team
- Share expertise and recommend adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed
