Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a part-time, school-based position in Winnetka, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. Job Details
- Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Location: Winnetka, IL
- Schedule: Part-Time
- FTE: 0.4 or 0.6 FTE (2 or 3 days per week)
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Student Population: Early Childhood
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based occupational therapy evaluations and direct therapy services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy goals as part of students' IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Travel between school sites within the district as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to travel throughout the school district
Preferred:
- Previous Early Childhood experience
- School-based occupational therapy experience
- Experience working with students receiving special education services
