Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active COTA certification and licensure
- Previous experience working with school-age children preferred
- Understanding of school-based therapy services and IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs
- Team player with a positive, enthusiastic approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support occupational therapy services for students, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive educational setting
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Caseload specifics will be provided closer to placement
