Your workdays generally start at 8:00 AM, though start and end times can fluctuate to best support school schedules, meetings, and student needs. The typical workweek is 37.5 hours, not exceeding 40 hours, ensuring a manageable and consistent commitment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure and credentials to practice in a school setting
- Previous experience working with school-age children, ideally spanning pre-K to high school
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and adapting interventions for diverse populations
- Strong organizational and communication skills for efficient caseload management
- Compassion, patience, and a solution-centered approach to therapy within educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 950 direct service minutes per week in line with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to promote student success
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Document services and track progress toward goals
- Attend meetings as needed, aligning therapeutic efforts with educational objectives
