Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Must hold valid OT licensure for Washington State
- Prior experience in school settings working with students from Pre-K to 12th grade preferred
- Thorough understanding of IEPs, direct service provision, and collaboration with IEP teams
- Skilled in adapting interventions to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities and ages
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver up to 950 direct service minutes weekly to assigned students, supporting their educational goals and growth
- Create individualized intervention plans in coordination with teachers and support staff
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, prepare detailed reports, and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Provide engaging, evidence-based OT interventions both individually and in groups
- Mentor educators and families on strategies to enhance students’ functional skills in academic settings
- Adhere to school and district protocols while flexibly adjusting to varying schedules and assignments
