Key Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of OT interventions for children and adolescents
- Comfortable managing a caseload at multiple school sites
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify strengths and needs impacting learning and participation
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated student support
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families
- Adapt strategies to meet the diverse needs of students across various school environments
