Your expertise as an SLP will be highly valued, especially in implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate interventions for preschoolers. If you also have experience or interest in Occupational Therapy within a school-based setting, the district is eager to support your dual skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as an SLP in school settings, particularly with preschool populations
- Knowledge of age-appropriate treatment approaches for children ages 3-5
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and compassionately
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations as needed
- Collaborative spirit to partner with fellow SLPs and school staff
- OT experience or credential is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with speech-language or occupational therapy needs
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with families and staff
- Support students both 1:1 and in small group settings across different sites
