You’ll be working full-time with a preschool population, engaging with children ages 3-5 across multiple school sites until June 17, 2026. You’ll have the support of a collaborative peer, as another SLP is already on site, fostering a team environment as you work closely to serve your caseload of up to 50 students.
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Experience working as an OT or SLP in a school-based setting, particularly with preschool-aged children
- Valid licensure and certifications for school-based practice in California
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit for partnering with educators and support staff
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Flexibility to travel between multiple locations as needed
Position Features/Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy and support for preschool students ages 3-5, focusing on their developmental and academic needs
- Manage a caseload of up to 50 students, creating individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with another SLP on site and teachers to offer comprehensive care
- Serve diverse learners and work across several school buildings
- Participate in regular team meetings and IEP processes
- Engage families and caregivers to support student progress
- OT services are also needed, offering a varied and impactful caseload
- Enjoy time off during spring break, March 30-April 10, 2026
