An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding contract role within a supportive school environment. In this role, you will assess and treat students with a wide range of needs, collaborating closely with educators and families to support individualized education plans throughout the school year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license in California
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy services within a school setting strongly preferred
- Skillful in evaluating and treating K-12 students with diverse needs
- Familiarity with IEP processes and ability to document goals and progress
- Effective communicator and collaborator with colleagues, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions for students onsite
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and establish service plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Consult with educators and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and required documentation
