Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience in school-based OT settings strongly preferred
- Comfort with diverse caseloads, including high school-aged students
- Familiarity with teletherapy, home health, and healthcare OT services a plus
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to support students’ unique needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assessment and therapy services to high school students according to IEPs and district guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to ensure cohesive support and effective strategies for each student
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, goals, and progress reports
- Support students’ functional participation in academics, activities, and daily routines
- Document all services, evaluations, and outcomes promptly and thoroughly
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute thoughtful insights on student progress and adaptive recommendations
This full-time opportunity averages 37.5 hours per week and extends throughout the entire 22/23 school year, giving you consistent work and the chance to develop strong connections with your students and colleagues.
