Occupational Therapist School Setting in Pasadena, CA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families across diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability and creativity in customizing therapeutic approaches
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students’ functional abilities and recommend strategies for classroom success
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and specialists
- Keep accurate and timely documentation of progress and services
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences
- Educate staff and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment recommendations
