Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist, with credentials valid in California
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, goal setting, and implementation of therapy plans in a school setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions for a range of needs and learning styles
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students on a designated caseload
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ learning objectives
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom environments
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times
