School Occupational Therapist - Stockton, California
Step into a dynamic, collaborative environment supporting students across multiple school sites as a full-time Occupational Therapist. Work alongside a dedicated team, including four OTs and two COTAs, providing essential onsite support for PreK-12 students throughout the school year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT license and registration
- Previous school-based or pediatric setting experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to travel between 1-3 school sites as assigned
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver individualized therapy services for students PreK-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation in school routines
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Adapt intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs and site requirements
- Participate in team meetings, including problem-solving and best-practice sharing
