A skilled nursing facility is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a contract assignment. This role involves working directly with patients in a hospital-based therapy setting, focusing on rehabilitation and fostering the highest quality of patient care.
Schedule:
- Preference for Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an active CA Occupational Therapy license, or be eligible under the 60-day rule if recently applied
- Previous skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred; open to new graduates, with mentorship available
- Demonstrated proficiency in documentation and time management
- Flexible and collaborative attitude required
- Willingness to float to a nearby sister facility as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing environment, developing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately complete documentation using Net Health, adhering to established facility standards
