Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, valid COTA licensure required
- Experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with ESPED (IEP System) is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to rotating among multiple close-knit locations
- Commitment to fostering student independence in educational and functional activities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OT
- Implement individualized treatment plans to promote student success in academic and daily living tasks
- Support the development of fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills
- Document sessions, progress notes, and communicate case updates in accordance with IEP requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to reinforce strategies in the classroom
- Assist with evaluations and participate in IEP meetings as required
