This itinerant role provides a chance to make a real difference in students’ progress and growth throughout the academic year, from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid COTA licensure required
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Familiarity with ESPED (IEP system) preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to efficiently manage an itinerant schedule across multiple campuses
- Strong organizational skills to maintain consistent records and service delivery
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as prescribed in their IEPs
- Implement therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support student participation in educational and daily activities
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to enrich the student experience
- Travel between four nearby schools within the district (all locations less than a few miles apart)
