Ideal candidates will bring:
- Active COTA licensure (required)
- Previous school-based OT experience, particularly with K-12 populations
- Familiarity with ESPED (IEP System) preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills to balance an itinerant caseload
- Confidence in delivering teletherapy services and adapting to evolving educational environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
- Collaborating with the supervising OT to implement intervention plans that support student participation and growth
- Maintaining thorough documentation, progress notes, and all documentation necessary for IEP meetings
- Partnering with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s success
- Managing a caseload of up to 60 students across K-12 within the connected school system
