This remote (VOCO) opportunity allows you to collaborate closely with an Occupational Therapist, delivering essential direct services across several elementary and K-12 schools. Serving up to 60 students, you'll make a genuine impact working with a diverse caseload—all within a highly supportive, team-oriented environment.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- COTA license required in the state of Texas
- Experience with school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Familiarity with ESPED (IEP System) is a significant plus
- Comfortable delivering teletherapy/direct services virtually in a school environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual, direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 under supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievements and implement individualized plans
- Document and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records in the ESPED system
- Adapt and modify therapeutic activities to meet students’ needs in a remote setting
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development opportunities
