What you'll bring:
- Current COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP documentation and goal progression tracking
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
- Reliable, flexible, and organized approach to your workday
- Compassion working with students of varying abilities
Key responsibilities:
- Support occupational therapy goals developed by supervising OT
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Assist with classroom modifications, adaptations, and student accommodations
- Accurately document student progress and session notes
- Liaise with instructional teams and participate in relevant student meetings
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment for student growth and independence
