Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Credentials as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with an active license in Washington
- Experience delivering therapy in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Familiarity with adapting therapy techniques to support diverse student needs
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with occupational therapists to provide direct and indirect services to students, supporting IEP goals and functional skill development
- Implement individualized intervention programs designed to enhance students’ academic achievement and participation
- Document all services accurately, maintaining compliance with school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educational staff to adapt classroom environments and activities as needed
- Regularly communicate progress to supervising therapists, staff, and families
