What we’re looking for:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings
- Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions for children ages 3–14
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset for engaging with teachers, parents, and staff
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing individualized therapy plans for students
- Delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Documenting progress, preparing reports, and contributing to IEP meetings
- Training staff and families on strategies that promote student success
- Managing a flexible caseload and adapting interventions as needed
- Participating in collaborative problem-solving with the school team
